Fitness Center Reopening
OCTOBER 5 | We are excited to announce that the EAHS Fitness Center will reopen on Monday, October 5, 2020. In order to help keep all of our members safe and healthy, new
guidelines and rules have been put in place at the Fitness Center.
First and foremost, if you are not feeling well, have any flu-like symptoms, or have a cough, do not enter the Fitness Center. Stay home and monitor your symptoms.
Members are asked to check their temperature before entering the Fitness Center. A digital thermometer unit will be available outside the facility door. If you have a temperature of 100° you will not be permitted inside the Fitness Center.
When you enter the Fitness Center, you will check in with the attendant and provide your name. You will also be required to wash your hands before entering and upon leaving. Hand sanitizer will be available.
Masks are required inside the Fitness Center per State order. We will limit capacity to 25 in the Fitness Center and require a minimum of six feet physical distance between members at all times. Some cardio equipment will be out of service to assist with this effort. Spotting will be done from the ends of the bar, not from the center over the top of the lifter.
Personal items/equipment are prohibited (headphones/earpieces are permitted). Water bottles will only be allowed in the lobby, outside of the Fitness Center. They can be filled from the water fill stations but cannot enter the room with equipment and other members.
Handshakes, high-fives, and other unnecessary physical contact between members are also prohibited. The EAHS Fitness Center does reserve the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or not following facility guidelines.
We know it’s a lot of new rules and regulations, and it likely won’t feel the same once we reopen, but we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Let’s work together to keep the Fitness Center safe, healthy, and OPEN.
Stay healthy, folks!
